Who is M'LYNN?

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, M’Lynn is a young and exciting new artist! A  proud graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Visual and Performing Arts in Dallas and now attending the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, M’Lynn has been writing and performing her own music since she was twelve. She has quickly grown into an accomplished pianist, singer and songwriter.

It’s hard to pinpoint M’Lynn’s style, which is a mixture of blues, jazz, pop and soul.  It’s refreshing, contemplative and intense!

Her songwriting is personal and mature beyond her years. Her covers make an old song new again.  Her influences include Nora Jones, Carole King, John Mayer and Ben Howard.

You can find M’Lynn at many venues in Dallas including, Poor David’s Pub, Beau Nash, Sofar Sounds, The Drugstore Cowboy, Rex’s Seafood, Klyde Warren Park, The Rustic, Red Hot & Blue, Sons of Hermann Hall, Opening Bell Coffee, Ascension Coffee, Jingle Bells on Bishop, The Emporium Pie Shop in the Bishop Arts District, and many Saturday’s in “The Shed” at the Dallas Farmers Market.  This spring she was thrilled to perform in Richardson, Texas at the City Line outdoor concert series.  M'Lynn has also performed in Miami for a Sofar Sounds gig, in Tulsa at the Hard Rock Casino and she occasionally performs in Los Angeles, including The Viper Room, The Love Song Bar and others.
